The Newport County Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Dinner Dance and Silent Auction to recognize their choice for winner of the Oustanding Community Achievement Award, the Aquidneck Island Land Trust.
Cocktails will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. followed by a surf and turf dinner and dancing until 11 p.m.
The silent auction will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. and will feature donations from local businesses as well as vacations, sporting event tickets and much more.

Tickets are $65 per person or $600 per table of 10. The Hyatt is also offering rooms at $99 per night for those who would like to make a special night away of the event.
