For the first time in its history, the Newport Folk Festival at Fort Adams State Park has sold out. The festival was first held in 1959 and has never sold out of tickets for both days. Artists appearing at this year's festival include the Decemberists, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello and Gillian Welch.
