The Island Moving Company, Newport's classically trained contemporary ballet company, will perform a very special, one-day-only, "mini-Nutcracker" at the Sandywoods Center for the Arts (43 Muse Way) on Sunday, December 4th. Doors open at 10:30 am. Light refreshments will be served at 11:00 am, with the performance to follow. After the event, children will have an opportunity to meet with the dancers and take photos.
$15.00 for adults, $10.00 for children 4-12 years old. Children 3 years of age and younger - accompanied by a paying adult - will be admitted free of charge. They may either sit on an adult's lap or sit on pillows at the front of the hall. Don't forget to bring your pillows!
