The City of Newport is giving away free tickets to "In the Good Old Summertime" to the the first 300 people who request them, at the Visitors Bureau. This is part of a celebration of the 95th birthday of the late actor and Hollywood hearthrob Van Johnson, who was born and raised in Newport, completing high school here. The screening is at the Jane Pickens Theatre in Newport on Aug. 25.
