Aquidneck Island Reuse Planning Authority (AIRPA) is having a public workshop on plans for the five surplus parcels of Navy land. There will be displays and discussion and the public is invited.
The AIRPA is responsible for a redevelopment plan and strategies for the reuse of the surplus Navy properties on Aquidneck Island. The AIRPA is a joint and cooperative planning authority representing the City of Newport, Town of Middletown, and Town of Portsmouth.
