It's hard to believe it's over already.
The Newport Folk Festival wrapped up on Sunday, with a collection of performances that were so impressive, many are calling them some of the most memorable in the festival's history.
Here's some of our favorite memories from Sunday's shows:

- Preservation Hall Jazz Band with various guests, including Jim James, Andrew Bird and Tao Rodriguez-Seeger. The band was amazing with every horn instrument imaginable and some great vocals. James was a show-stopper when he joined the group for "St. James Infirmary."
- The Felice Brothers' performance at the Harbor Stage engaged the crowd with their folk meets indie rock meets bluegrass sound. At one point a band member broke out a tin washboard, which blended beautifully with the other instruments.
- The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Elvis Perkins and the What Cheer? Brigade creating a musical marching line with fans that took them from the Quad Stage down to the Harbor Stage.
- Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros were supreme at captivating the audience. In fact, the start of their set was delayed because the fire marshal needed to clear concert goers who were congregating in designated fire lanes. That prompted a raucous chant of "fold up the chairs," which were taking up a great amount of the space under the Harbor Stage tent. Aside from that, the crowd was full of positive energy and lead singer Alex Ebert had full command of them all. He even jumped off stage at one point to join the fans.
- Ed Sharpe closed out the Harbor Stage, but the Preservation Jazz Hall Band came out shortly thereafter for an impromptu jam session. Gathered on the small hill by the stage, they drew a small crowd who danced and clapped to their hands to their spontaneous set.
- Levon Helm's impressive performance that closed out of the day, with a number of special guests, including Edward Sharpe bandmembers and Richie Havens.
