Marine and Composites Industry Career Fair in Newport

Please join IYRS School of Technology & Trades and the Rhode Island Marine Trades Association for the 10th Annual Marine & Composites Industry Career Day hosted at IYRS in Newport, RI on March 7, 2015.

This one-day event, which is hosted by IYRS and RIMTA, is free to the public and will draw marine and composites industry experts and employers from all over the U.S. In 2014 we had companies from as far north as Maine and far south as Florida; we expect to see a record number of exhibitors and attendees in 2015.

A sample of participating companies includes Hinckley Yachts, Viking Yacht Company, Brewer Yacht Yards, General Dynamics Electric Boat, Cay Electronics, Clear Carbon & Components, Hodgdon Yachts and many more.

Career seekers will have an opportunity to meet with boatbuilders, boat yards, and composite manufacturers; learn about the skills needed to work in the marine and composites industries; gather information on how to gain in-demand skills; learn about career prospects; and attend informative seminars.
