A concert of spiritual peace for the living and the dead: traditionally written as a prayer for the deceased, Forrest’s Requiem for the Living gives an invigorating take on liturgical tradition, inspired by the majesty of images of space. With text of a similar theme, the Requiem magically aligns with Bach’s Komm, Jesu, Komm; Lobet den Herrn; Jesu, meine Freude in a performance featuring orchestra and the Rhode Island Children’s Chorus.
