RIRRC TO BE AT THE 22nd ANNUAL RHODE ISLAND FLOWER SHOW
Offers Discounts on Compost Bins; MaxMan to Appear for Kids; Participates in RIEEA Program

The Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation (“RIRRC”) will be a featured participant in the upcoming 2015 Rhode Island Flower Show sponsored by the Rhode Island Horticulture Society. RIRRC will table at the event where attendees can receive coupons for a discounted compost bin. Additionally, RIRRC will participate in the “Gateways to Garden Adventure” environmental education program with the Rhode Island Environmental Education Association (“RIEEA”), and RIRRC’s recycling superhero, MaxMan, will present two educational presentations
RIRRC’s table will be featured at the show from 11AM-4PM on Friday, February 20th and Saturday, February 21st. If attendees stop by the table and “like” the RIRRC Facebook page, they will receive a coupon for a $30 backyard compost bin-$15 off the RIRRC price of $45 and $70 off retail. Attendees must visit the table, located in the main Marketplace, to receive the coupon.
RIRRC’s recycling superhero, “MaxMan” will present a program on how to recycle right on Friday, February 20th and Saturday, February 21st, at 11 AM in Breakout Room 558 A & B. Also, as a member of the Rhode Island Environmental Education Association, RIRRC is helping children learn the importance of outdoor adventures by supporting an interactive children’s garden made of recycled and repurposed materials, and displaying a compost -themed “Gateway to Garden and Outdoor Adventures” alongside other RIEAA member organizations.
