Sons of Liberty's Hop Flavored Whiskey Acknowledged As Best Flavored Whiskey in North America At Whisky Magazine's 2015 World Whiskies Awards In London

South Kingstown, RI (March 30, 2015) – Sons of Liberty’s Hop Flavored Whiskey was awarded Best Flavored Whiskey in North America in the final round of judging for Whisky Magazine’s 2015 World Whiskies Awards held at the Waldorf Hilton London on March 19th, 2015. The Rhode Island craft distillery has now received international recognition in back-to-back years from the industry’s most prestigious blind-tasting awards program, following its World’s Best award in 2014 for its Pumpkin Spice Whiskey.

Sons of Liberty’s Hop Flavored Whiskey fell short of the World’s Best Award only to Master of Malt’s 40 Year Old Speyside Whisky Liqueur in the international round of judging.

Judging criteria for the awards consist of the whiskey’s nose, palate, balance, character, complexity, quality, functionality and finish.
