ST. MICHAEL’S COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL THEATRE ENSEMBLE PRESENTS “THE WIZARD OF OZ”
Students in the St. Michael’s Country Day School Theatre Ensemble will present “The Wizard of Oz” on Thursday, March 3 at 7pm, Friday, March 4 at 7pm, and Saturday, March 5 at 2pm. The performances will take place in the Hill House Arts and Athletics Center on the school’s campus at 180 Rhode Island Avenue, Newport.
John Kane adapted the book by L. Frank Baum. Music and lyrics are by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg. Christina Johnston is the director. Ellyn Eaves-Hileman is the costume and set designer. Students in the school’s Stagecraft class have built the sets.

St. Michael’s Country Day School is an independent, non-sectarian, coeducational school for children from preschool (three year olds) to grade eight located in Newport, RI. The school was founded in 1938.
