What does it mean to eat mindfully?
For centuries, yogis the world over have been following a lifestyle that includes a vegetarian diet. Aside from the benefits to the cardiovascular system, yogis have noticed that a plant-based diet improves the functions of the mind and can contribute to a person’s happiness. Eating intentionally, with mindfulness, a person can increase stamina and begin to glow with renewed energy.

Judy McClain founded the Grace School of Yoga to bring the yogic lifestyle – which saved her life – to others. She will offer her story as an example of the benefits of a plant-based diet and what she learned in her ten-year conversion to a mindful way of living.
