Supporters say voters were promised these fields and that delaying undermines trust, while others want to wait for final cost estimates due within about a month before committing.
   

• A single gas station in cities throughout Washington County had the cheapest premium gas in week ending Sept. 26 (southcotimes.com) — Premium gas prices in Washington County recently averaged $5.44 per gallon, with one station offering the lowest reported price at $5.15. For North Kingstown drivers, the listed premium price was $5.49, slightly below the statewide average of $5.46, as global oil tensions and refinery issues continue to keep fuel costs elevated.
