He was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned, and released with a notice to appear in court, highlighting an incident of impaired driving on a major local roadway.
   

• North Kingstown Turf, Track Estimate Fits Savings Plan (upriseri.com) — North Kingstown's Budget and Finance Advisory Committee has endorsed a $1.1 million estimate to replace the high school's turf field and track, saying it fits the district's $1.7 million savings target for 2030. Members also flagged safety concerns with the current track and floated a broader stadium upgrade that could reach $1.5 million, leaving final funding and timing decisions to the School Committee.
