Attention Parents with Talented Kids!

Experiments in Theater and Talent Factory Performing Arts, both of North Kingstown, will be holding auditions for Disney’s High School Musical Jr. on November 22 from 2-6 PM at Talent Factory Performing Arts Centre, 6171 Post Road, North Kingstown, RI.

Talent Factory and Experiments in Theater welcomes any child ages 7-18 who is interested in a speaking role in Disney’s High School Musical Jr. to contact Valerie Myette at missvalerietheater@gmail.com for an audition appointment on November 22. We will be evaluating each audition for voice, musicality, stage presence, character type and dancing. Rehearsals will begin in January, after the Winter Break, and performances will take place on Saturday, April 4 at 2PM and 7:30PM. PLEASE NOTE that this is Easter weekend, but there will be no performances on Easter Sunday or Good Friday.

There are numerous principal roles in High School Musical Jr. and two ensembles. A “principal role” is a speaking role that includes substantial line memorization, possible solo singing and dancing. An ensemble role involves group coral singing – no solos– ensemble dancing and may or may not include one or two lines.
