This workshop will provide an overview of skills and painting approaches used in watercolors. The instructor, Steve Hamlin, will demonstrate and explain painting techniques such as graded washes, wet-in-wet, drybrush, spatter, scraping, masking, etc.. He will also discuss composition, draftsmanship and color theory. This hands-on workshop will allow students ample opportunity to experiment with the techniques that are demonstrated.
