Outside the Lines: Abstract/Avant-Garde Exhibit Opens May 29 at the Wickford Art Association

The Wickford Art Association invites the community to experience “Outside the Lines,” an exciting exhibit celebrating Abstract and Avant-Garde art, on display May 29 through June 28 at the WAA Gallery, 36 Beach Street in Wickford.

Pushing beyond traditional boundaries, Outside the Lines showcases artwork that explores imagination, experimentation, emotion, and unconventional artistic expression. The exhibit features a variety of styles, mediums, and interpretations that challenge expectations and invite viewers to see art from a fresh perspective.

An Opening Reception will be held on Thursday, May 29, offering visitors an opportunity to meet participating artists, view the exhibit, and celebrate this creative collection.

From bold color palettes and dynamic compositions to thought-provoking concepts and unexpected techniques, Outside the Lines highlights the diversity and originality of contemporary abstract and avant-garde work.

The exhibit will remain on view through June 28, 2026 during regular gallery hours.
