Canadian geese this past Sunday March 9 2014 were migrating over the Norfh Cove area off the Wickford Yacht Cluband and gathering in the shallows around Cornelius and Rabbit Island in Wickford. Flocks upon flocks of the geese flew in there formations around 10 Am Sunday and could be seen from the town boat ramp at the end of Intredid Drive on the shore of Rabbit Island. Their northward migration for breeding has begun.
