UPDATE: Police Searching For Bank Robber
Police are investigating a robbery at Citizens Bank this afternoon.
Updated Apr. 1 at 4:05 p.m.
Police are still searching for the suspect in Friday's robbery at on Frenchtown Road.
The suspect is described as a white male between 5'6" and 6' tall and was wearing a green shirt, dark blue hoodie and white construction gloves.

According to Lt. Steve St. Onge of the North Kingstown Police Department, the suspect entered the bank alone around noon and demanded money from two tellers. Witnesses stated he was brandishing a small weapon and was wearing a black mask.
The suspect allegedly fled the bank on foot, heading west toward Precsion Park (formely Browne & Sharpe). Rhode Island State Police, East Greenwich police and NK police all immediately responded to the scene. Police and K-9 units were unable to locate the suspect or his vehicle.

There is no word yet on how much money was stolen from the bank.
