This summer Denison University, OH Junior and North Kingstown resident, Emily Lipsitz will be biking 4,400 miles across the country as part of the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults 4K for Cancer program. The Ulman Cancer Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing lives by supporting, educating and connecting young individuals and their families affected by cancer. Lipsitz, along with her team, will begin the 70-day trip on June 1st 2014 with their back tires in the Baltimore Harbor, and commence their cross-country journey on August 9th 2014 with their front wheels in the Pacific Ocean near Portland, OR. Along the way they will stop in 12 states and 61 different cities to raise funds, spread awareness and instill hope. She has pledged to raise $1 for the UCF for every mile she is biking, please consider supporting this great cause!
