Davisville Free Library 2nd Saturday Series

Davisville Free Library is excited to welcome critically-acclaimed Rhode Island author Padma Venkatrama to our 2nd Saturday Authors Series on November 8, 2014 at 2pm. Join us to hear her reading from her latest book,  A Time to Dance, just released a few months ago to rave reviews. Following the reading she will answer questions and sign copies of the book.

Loosely based on the inspiring stories of several “differently-abled” dancers, it tells the story of Veda, a teenager in Chennai, India. After losing a leg in an accident, Veda finds the courage to relearn how to dance and discovers herself in the process.

There is no fee for this event and pre-registration is not necessary.
