Yesterday I got an email from my friend, Mike, who is coordinating a caroling event in Providence, asking me to lead a caroling group here in Wickford. He's trying to get simultaneous groups in every city and town in RI. How fun!
So I thought I'd invite our good friends from NorthKingstown.Patch.com to join our family in some holiday song. (And I REALLY don't sing well, but don't let that sway you...) Here are the details:
Sunday night, Dec. 19th
5-6pm - Bagelz Wickford - come in, warm up by the fire, and buy some hot drinks before you go.
6-8pm Caroling up and down West Main and Brown Streets
8pm - Warm up, post-caroling at Voila Art Gallery.
The whole event is free, and certain to be merry.
I'll be posting updates on Shop Wickford's Facebook page, so if you're on Facebook, check it out. Unless it's terrible weather (cold rain, wind) we'll be doing it. But at least there are pretty lights to enjoy.
There's also an article coming out in Projo, so I have NO idea how many people to expect, but it should be fun! Let's show RI that we have as much holiday spirit as they do in the city! Dress warm, hope to see you!
