Many innovative techniques to get youth writing- a nature walk, writing prompts, scavenger hunt and wild writing! Youth will write a critique one another's works. Workshop for the youth who loves books as much as candy!

The group will be led by Amy Feucht, who has been published in Elephant Journal and she has a weekly blog in the North Kingstown Patch. Amy is a winner of the Barbara Winder Creative Writing award. Amy writes poetry, memoir, blogs and professional writing. Amy also offers writing and poetry classes for North Kingstown Arts Council. She has a
degree in both English Writing and Psychology from Western Connecticut State University and a Master’s degree from Fairfield University. Amy has been a Program
Director at non-profits serving youth. She has studied with various authors
including Patricia Lee Lewis, Susan King and Sharon Olds.
