Tim Cranston, local historian, will lead this informative walk through Elamsville, now absorbed into Wickford Village. We will talk about sea captains, local merchants, the coal distribution industry, the long-forgotten mid-19th century gold locket factory, Washington Academy, and the story of the Old Ten Rod Road livestock highway.
We will be meeting on the front lawn of the old Wickford Elementary School Building.
