The North Kingstown Free Library is hosting Loren Spears: Narragansett Stories of My Grandmothers today, Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 3 p.m.
This program will include storytelling, oral history and music and dance focusing on the Narragansett people and culture. A variety of native items will be shared and a short film “How Birds Got Their Song,” featured at the Providence Film Festival, will also be shown. All will be followed by a question and answer session.
