Please join us on January 1, 2012 at 12:00 Noon for the Innaugural Jamestown First Day Plunge. We will be taking the plunge at East Ferry in Jamestown with panoramic views of Narragansett Bay and the Newport Bridge. The plan is for the event to take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with pre- registration starting at 10 a.m. at the Jamestown Recreation Center located at 41 Conanicus Ave. All Plungers who turn in form will receive FREE a "Jamestown 1st Day" wrist band.

We are running a pledge drive of donations to benefit different Jamestown charities. This year's donations will go towards the Jamestown Fireworks Fund and WeAllMoveOn.org (Memorial Fund for Josh Barber of Jamestown). The person who raises the most money for charity will be crowned 'Emperor', so make every effort to become the first!
