NK Spirit Day

The NK Spirit Day Committee would like to announce that at our upcoming March 23, NK Spirit Day 2013 event, being held from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the North Kingstown High School, will again feature electronic recycling, shredding, collection of gently used clothing and small appliances and blood donations in an easy to find location right outside the door to the Spirit Day entrance in the school parking lot.

            The Office Supply Solutions and Affordable Shredding trucks, the Big Sisters and Big Brother collection truck and the Blood Mobile will be located in an easily to find location in the parking lot. To potential attendees:  Please start saving items to dispose of, have shredded or to donate to these organizations, with our thanks. Electronic recycling has a small cost associated with disposing of your electronic devices which goes toward the support of Spirit Day, Affordable Shredding is charging 0.35 per pound to shred your papers which will be done on site, Big Brothers, Big Sisters welcomes donations as does the RI Blood Mobile. Also scheduled to be outside in the parking lot area, a  new Bailey’s Motors automobile to inspect, the Arabian horse, Sancho, from the HorsePlay organization, who will be featured in two shows at 11:00am and 12:30pm outside on the grassy plot, and the Greater Providence YMCA’s bouncy (the last three, weather permitting).  The Committee hopes to see you at Spirit Day, promises a lot of fun for the family  and asks that you do not forget to bring a non-perishable food donation to the NK Food Pantry if you can.
