Sunday Musical at the LIbrary: Solati Trio

Join us at the as we welcome the Solati Trio who will open this year’s Sunday concert series. 

Sophia Herman, violinist, and Ludmilla Lifson, pianist, are twin sisters who were born in Leningrad, Russia. Both are graduates of the Leningrad Conservatory, the oldest and most prestigious School of Music in the former Soviet Union. After moving to the United States, Ms. Herman and Ms. Lifson continued their concert career as the Herman-Lifson Duo.

Hrant Tatian, ‘cellist, is a graduate of the world renowned Juilliard School of Music where he was a scholarship student of the great American ‘cellist, Leonard Rose. He appeared as Assistant Principal ‘cellist with the St. Louis Symphony and as Principal ‘cellist of the Rochester, New York, Philharmonic.  Mr. Tatian performs on a 1786 Ferdinand Gagliano ‘cello.
