UPDATE: Fire Consumes Garage Off Ten Rod Road
An early morning fire destroyed a detached garage in a residential area off Ten Rod Road.
No injuries were reported in an early morning fire that destroyed a garage Monday around 3:30 a.m at 153 Himes St.
When fire crews first arrived on scene, the structure was "fully involved," according to Fire Chief Patrick Campion. Crews left the scene around 6:30 a.m. Monday, three hours after the fire was first reported.
The fire completely destroyed the three-car garage in the residential area off of Ten Rod Road. The garage owner's home, which was only about 75 feet from the garage, was not affected by the fire.

A vintage car inside the garage is also believed to be totaled, Campion said.
Neighbors reported hearing loud explosion-like noises during the fire. It has not yet been determined what they actually heard, Campion added.
