Historic New England raises funds to support its Rhode Island farms
Feast for the Farms; Casey; Watson; Historic New England

Saunderstown, Rhode Island – August 2017 – Historic New England’s Feast for the Farms raised more than $40,000 to benefit preservation projects and education programs at Casey Farm and Watson Farm, two of the oldest working farms in the state.
More than one hundred guests gathered at Casey Farm to celebrate summer with cocktails in the garden and local oysters. The cocktail reception was followed by a dinner featuring a menu of locally sourced farm-to-table cuisine from Russell Morin Catering and Events that included produce grown at Casey Farm. Historic New England trustee Jon-Paul Couture chaired the event committee. Other members of the committee are Tina and Bill Harsch, Peter Karczmar and Cathy Lund, Matt Karimi, Gregory D. Lombardi, Chris Marsella, Sandra Ourusoff Massey, Heather and Don Minto, Lindsay and Leeds Mitchell IV, Jean and Paul Moran, Frank Mullin, Brent Runyon, and Courtney Taylor.
