One Hour Delay for North Kingstown Students Tuesday
School officials have decided to give students a little more time to get to school following Monday's winter storm.

North Kingstown families will have a little extra time to clear snow from car roofs and driveways Tuesday.
The North Kingstown school department has delayed the start of school by one hour Tuesday thanks to the winter storm that brought an icy mix of snow and frozen rain to town all day on Monday.

At the same time, the parking ban that went into effect on Monday will end at 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to the North Kingstown Police Department.
The Town Council meeting planned for Monday was also cancelled and residents will see a one-day delay in the waste pickup schedule.
