Local Teen Critically Injured in Late Night Crash
One local teen is in critical condition after his car was struck by an alleged drunk driver.
A local teenager is in the hospital following a car accident on Post Road Thursday night. According to the , a car driving southbound on Post Road struck a car broadside carrying three juveniles as it was exiting around 11:30 p.m.
The teen driver was brought to Rhode Island Hospital. He is in critical condition as of 4 a.m. His two passengers were treated and released with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the other car was treated at Kent County Hospital and is being charged with drunken driving (serious bodily injury resulting) and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
