Woman Allegedly Slaps Man, Throws Chinese Food
Tina Marie Briggs, 37, of 50 Sachem Rd. in North Kingstown, was arrested Sept. 18 at 11:51 p.m. on charges of domestic assault and disorderly conduct.
Briggs allegedly got into an argument with a man after arriving late for dinner. A witness told police she had slapped the man across the face and threw Chinese food at the wall. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance.

She is set to appear in Third District Court on Nov. 11.

NK Teen Hit With Felony Charge
Christopher Hazard, 19, of 1085 Tower Hill Rd. Apt. A, was arrested Sept. 20 at 9:13 a.m. on felony charges of receiving stolen goods.
A State Street resident returned to her apartment after going outside to smoke a cigarette and take out the garbage to find that her smart phone and two laptops were gone. Hours later, an officer saw Hazard and a friend walking down Devils Food Road near Tarbox Toyota carrying a backpack. When officers arrived, Hazard was leaving the Tarbox lot and no longer had the backpack with him. Officers found the backpack underneath a truck in the lot with the laptops inside.
Two Men Arrested May Have Connection to Wickford Mini Mart B&E
Alan Dziordz Scotland, 39, of 39 Rose Garden St. in Warwick, and Bryan R. Wieczorek, 35, of 49 Bates Ave. Apt. LKA in North Kingstown, were arrested Sept. 21 at 1:25 a.m. on charges of driving with suspended licenses. Police also believe the two may have a connection to two breaking-and-entering cases – one at Wickford Mini Mart and another in Exeter.
Inside their van, police allegedly found a Dallas Cowboys baseball cap and camouflage jacket (both of which were worn by the suspect in the surveillance footage from Wickford Mini Mart). In addition, officers allegedly found a “dime bag” with white residue inside, a large amount of assorted articles of clothing, trash bags, multiple rifle scopes and several packages of Newport cigarettes.

- Gary Chamberland, 32, of 48 Golden View Drive in Johnston, was arrested Sept. 22 at 4:50 a.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license
- Mishquamatokqs S. Fayerweather, 21, of 697 Annaquatucket Rd. in North Kingstown, was arrested Sept. 21 at 11:25 p.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license. He is set to appear in Third District Court on Oct. 11.
- Mark Desnoyers, 47, of 20 Canna St. in Warwick, was arrested Sept. 22 at 4 p.m. on charges of vandalism after damaging a coworker’s car. He is due in Third District Court on Oct. 11.
