NK Man Charged With DUI
Kevin Michael Prosser, 21, of 409 Mourning Dove Drive in North Kingstown was arrested Jan. 20 at 1:31 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence and was cited for refusing to submit to a chemical test.
Police pulled Prosser over after allegedly seeing him driving erratically and over the speed limit in the Tower Hill Road and Shermantown Road area. According to reports, he appeared to be under the influence and told the officer he had “one beer” that night. After allegedly failing his field sobriety test, Prosser was placed under arrest and brought to the North Kingstown Police Department where he allegedly refused to take a breath test.

Man Charged After Shoving Woman, Repeatedly Ringing Her Doorbell
Matthew Ryan Murphy, 27, of 86 Asqah Drive, North Kingstown, was arrested Jan. 20 at 6:47 a.m. on charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct

According to reports, Murphy and a woman began arguing after he reportedly took her welfare card. Murphy then left the home and returned two days later at around 6 a.m., while reportedly intoxicated. The two began arguing again and, according to reports, Murphy shoved the woman before he was asked to leave the apartment. An hour later, Murphy allegedly returned and began ringing the buzzer to her apartment repeatedly for almost 30 minutes.
Murphy then left and returned again 15 minutes later. When the woman told him to leave once more, he allegedly threatened to urinate and defecate on her car. From her window, the victim told police she could see Murphy jumping up and down and waving his arms around the vehicle.

Patricia A. Rogers, 52, of 7835 Post Road, North Kingstown, was arrested Jan. 21 at 12:04 a.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license.
Edward Albert Macomber, 45, of 30 Nancy Drive, Cumberland, was arrested Jan. 21 at 12:50 p.m. following a bench warrant for his arrest.
