NK Police Log: Man Allegedly Assaults Ex With Shot Glass

Man Assaults Ex-Girlfriend While 'Returning' Shot Glass
Erik Paul Ficazzola, 22, of 133 South Rd. in East Greenwich was arrested Dec. 1 at 3:09 a.m. on charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct.
Ficazzola allegedly threw a shot glass his ex-girlfriend while he was inside his car. According to reports, the woman saw Ficazzola drive past her house earlier in the night. Ficazzola told police he was trying to return the shot glass to the woman. Police reports indicate that the time of the incident was around midnight.

East Greenwich police found Ficazzola at his home and took him into custody. According to officers, he smelled of alcohol.
Truck Stolen From Park-and-Ride

A white Ford pickup truck was stolen from the park-and-ride on Ten Rod Road near Home Depot on Dec. 1. According to the owner, she parked the car in the lot around 12:30 p.m. and returned around 4 p.m. to find it missing.
NK Man 'Polite and Courteous' During Arrest
Brandon Emile Lacroix, 26, of 53 Sunnybrook Drive in North Kingstown was arrested Dec. 1 at 11:10 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and driving in possession of a controlled substance.
Police pulled Lacroix over on Boston Neck Road and reportedly immediately smelled burnt marijuana coming from inside his car. According to the arresting officer, Lacroix was cooperative and admitted he had marijuana in his center console and handed it to the officer. Police noted that Lacroi was “polite and cooperative” throughout the arrest and during processing.

- Thomas Matthew DePetrillo, 47, of 71 Mt. Laurel Way in North Kingstown was arrested Nov. 28 at 7 p.m. following a bench warrant for his arrest.
- Albert Steven Perreault, 46, of 6101 Post Rd., Apt 92 in North Kingstown was arrested Nov. 30 at 9:08 p.m. following two Superior Court warrants for his arrest.
- Vincent Salvatore Piccoli, 48, of 28 Monroe Drive in Coventry was arrested Nov. 30 at 4:10 p.m. on charges of writing fraudulent checks. On August 26, 2011, Piccoli allegedly wrote a bad check for $342.40 to Taylor Rentals.
