SK Man Arrested After 'Temper Tantrum' in Walmart
Q. Vadol Perry, 18, of 165 Sand Turn Road in South Kingstown, was arrested March 20 at 7:10 p.m. on charges of disorderly conduct.
According to a witness, Perry was at the North Kingstown Walmart with his girlfriend and a younger family member when he began yelling at the young girl. The witness allegedly told police that Perry began swearing and pulling the young girl’s arm. According to the witness, when Perry realized the woman was looking at him, he told her, “What the [expletive] are you looking at you [expletive] white [expletive].”

The witness called police at that time and continued to follow the trio as Perry picked the girl up and walked toward the lawn and garden section. According to reports, Perry started screaming at her when he realized she was following, telling her, “This is why I hate all you white [expletives].” According to a Walmart employee, several other employees were staring at Perry as he screamed obscenities and yelled at the young girl.
Police pulled over Perry’s girlfriend’s truck after they left the store. At that time, Perry allegedly told police that the girl threw a temper tantrum in the store, throwing herself on the ground and refusing to get up. According to Perry, he had to lift her off the ground and carry her outside. He also allegedly denied striking the girl.

Surveillance tapes from Walmart show the girl throwing herself on the ground before Perry allegedly began pulling her by the arm, eventually lifting her off the floor and carrying her. Outside the store, the girl is seen walking well ahead of Perry and his girlfriend toward the car.
He is scheduled to appear in Third District Court on April 3.
Providence Police Arrest Man Who Stole Car from Friend in NK
Thayer E. Fayerweather, 40, of 150 Congress Ave. in Providence, was arrested March 22 at 12:03 a.m. on felony charges of driving a vehicle without the consent of the owner, possession of a stolen vehicle and following a warrant for his arrest following a shoplifting charge.
Fayerweather allegedly stole his friend’s car from her driveway in North Kingstown. According to the woman, Fayerweather was dropped off at her house to visit her and her son and stole her car when he was supposed to be washing it. The woman allegedly called Fayerweather after learning he had taken her car; during the conversation, Fayerweather told her he was going to buy cigarettes and would return shortly. When the woman asked him where he was, he allegedly stated “I’ll be back” and hung up the phone.
Fayerweather allegedly did not pick up the woman’s calls, texting her an hour later: “I went to drop off money to my kids. I don’t want to like to you. I’m on my way back.” The woman then contacted police and said she wanted to press charges.
Providence police located the vehicle on Arch Street after North Kingstown police sent out a bulletin searching for the car. The Providence Police Department arrested Fayerweather on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and for a warrant on a shoplifting charge out of Cranston, in addition to the charge from North Kingstown.

Nathaniel Robert Hyman, 30, of 97 Lenox Avenue in Providence, was arrested March 21 at 1:30 p.m. following a bench warrant for his arrest.
Julio Ordonez, 39, of East Providence, was arrested March 20 at 8:40 p.m. following a bench warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the ACI.
Cheryln Marie Guenev, 46, of 34 Ranger Road, was arrested March 18 at 12:14 p.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license. She is scheduled to appear in Third District Court on April 3.
