NK Police Log: Man Found Passed Out Behind Annex Building

SK Man Charged With Pot Possession at Walmart
Nicholus Mathew Robinson, 26, of 88 Dam St. in South Kingstown, was arrested June 22 at 3:15 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana.
employees contacted police after monitoring two men who were reportedly acting suspicious and concealing merchandise. According to police, Robinson admitted to officers that he had concealed a box of razors in a box of shoes he left in the shoe section but denied stealing anything. Robinson also allegedly showed the phone he was “thinking about stealing.”

When police found the shoebox with razors inside, they discovered one of the razors in the five-pack package was missing. For safety reasons, police searched Robinson and allegedly found a plastic bag with marijuana inside his pants’ pocket.
Police issued a no-trespass order against Robinson and his friend. He is scheduled for arraignment at July 10 in Third District Court.

Man Arrested Again After Allegedly Violating No-Contact Order
Joshua B. Thibodeau, 21, of 26 Fischer Drive, Apt. 4N in North Kingstown, was arrested June 18 at 10 a.m. on charges of violating a no-contact order.
Thibodeau was issued a no-contact order after he was arrested on June 7 on multiple domestic-related charges. According to a 22-year-old woman who was protected by the no-contact order, Thibodeau called her multiple times from a blocked number. The first call was allegedly made less than 30 minutes after the no-contact order was issued. West Warwick police arrested Thibodeau after he refused to respond to the North Kingstown Police Department to continue the investigation.
NK Man Charged With Public Drunkenness
Glenn Paul Gadrow, 48, of 185 Sachem Road in North Kingstown, was arrested June 18 at 4:48 p.m. on charges of public drunkenness.
Police responded to the rear of the for a reportedly intoxicated man who was “passed out.” When police found Gadrow, he was allegedly intoxicated and had a backpack with one bottle of Bud Light, one can of Budweiser and a half empty pint of Popov vodka inside. Gadrow was transported to South County Hospital for treatment. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 22.
Exeter Woman Charged With Second DUI
Patricia Jo-Ann Cutler, 42, of 480 South County Trail in Exeter, was arrested June 19 at 1:45 a.m. on charges of drunken driving — which would be her second offense.
Police received reports of an erratic driver on Ten Rod Road. The two men who contacted police said they saw Cutler at the and that she was allegedly hiccupping and slurring her speech. According to police, Cutler appeared to be under the influence and smelled of alcohol when they pulled her over.
Cutler, however, allegedly told officers she hadn’t been drinking that night and only took some medication so that by the time she got home she would “fall asleep.” Cutler also allegedly told police she was returning home from buying soap at the store.
After reportedly failing her field sobriety test, Cutler took a preliminary breath test at the scene: her blood alcohol was allegedly measured at .140 during that test. According to reports, police found a half empty bottle of Mike’s Hard Cranberry Lemonade that was open and inside the car’s center console.
At the North Kingstown Police Department, Cutler’s blood alcohol level was allegedly measured at .156 and .152 — nearly double the legal limit.

Dawn Marie Grillo, 48, of 50 Duke St. in East Greenwich, was arrested June 18 at 12:30 p.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license. She is scheduled for arraignment in Third District Court on July 3.
