Man Served No-Trespass Order After Alleged ‘Up-Skirt’ Pics
North Kingstown police responded to on Frenchtown Road for a report of a man taking “up-skirt” photos of a female customer. The 36-year-old woman said the suspect, a 36-year-old North Kingstown man, had placed his phone down near her legs and tried to take picture up her skirt. A store employee told the man about the complaint and asked him to wait in the store for police to arrive. According to the employee, the man complied but immediately began “flipping through his phone.”
According to reports, the man was “noticeably trembling” while speaking to officers. He allegedly told officers that he did not take any photos of the woman and let officers look through his phone. According to police, the only pornographic images on the phone were of the mans’ current girlfriend and appeared to be consensual.

According to police, there were no surveillance recordings of the area of alleged incident. Due to insufficient evidence, police were unable to make an arrest. Job Lot, however, requested a no trespass order against the man.

Amanda Amoure Laflamme, 23, of 6 Baldwin Ave. Apt. 1 in Pawtucket, was arrested April 18 at 9:50 a.m. on charges of shoplifting from .
Laflamme allegedly tried to steal a two-pack of women’s underwear for $7 from the store while she was shopping with her two children, 2 and 3 years old. According to reports, a Walmart employee had been monitoring Laflamme for the past year after suspecting her of shoplifting.
CVS Employee Fired For Stealing From Store
Michael King, 24, of 111 Knollwood Circle, was arrested April 18 at 4:15 p.m. on charges of unlawful appropriation.
According to reports, King had stolen about $300 in cash from over the course of his month-long employment there by redeeming fraudulent coupons and pocketing the money. In addition to the cash, King allegedly admitted to stealing $71 worth of merchandise — including a pack of Newport cigarettes and a DiGiorno frozen pizza.
King was charged with a misdemeanor and fired from CVS. He is scheduled in Third District Court on May 8 for his arraignment.
Teen Hit With Two Charges After Quarrel Over Cell Phone
Sean Casey Carroll, 18, of 106 Pettee Ave., was arrested April 24 at 7:20 a.m. on charges of domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.
Carroll allegedly punched a hole through his father’s bedroom door after an argument. According to reports, Carroll became irate after his father canceled his cell phone plan.
Narragansett Man Charged With Stealing Car Parts
Michael J. Barney, 25, of 21 Sassafras Trail in Narragansett, was arrested April 24 at 3 p.m. on charges of larceny.
In October 2011, Barney allegedly stole a catalytic converter from a Subaru Forester at Kingstown Auto Recycling. Six months after the investigation began, police discovered that Barney had sold the converter to Metal Commodities for $120 two days after the part was stolen. Police asked Barney to come into headquarters, where he allegedly admitted to stealing the item. He was released with a court summons.

Samantha Elizabeth Carman, 19, of 89 Waterwheel Lane, was arrested April 21 at 11:37 a.m. on charges of driving on a suspended license.
