NK Police Log: Pawtucket Teens Charged With Alcohol Possession

Pair of Pawtucket Teens Charged With Alcohol Possession

Jordon R. Laplume, 18, of 212 Cameron St. in Pawtucket, and Jaice A. Morgan, 19, of 28 Warwick Road in Pawtucket, were arrested June 20 at 2:40 a.m. on charges of possession of an alcoholic beverage by an underage person.

According to reports, Laplume and two others were drinking alcohol in a car on Peachtree Road after 1 a.m. As police talked with Laplume, Morgan and another friend exited a nearby residence and walked to the car. Police allegedly saw a silver can through a hole in a backpack that Morgan was carrying. According to reports, Morgan (19 years old) admitted he was carrying alcohol.

Inside the backpack, officers allegedly found a can of Coors Light and a pint of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. While searching the car, police allegedly found that Laplume was holding another bag, which he reportedly admitted contained alcohol.

According to police, no one appeared to be intoxicated but a few of the subjects admitted to having a few sips of alcohol.

NK Teen Arrested After Brother Eats Sandwich 

Nicholas Alexander Barske, 18, of 23 Collation Circle in North Kingstown, was arrested June 20 at 7:03 a.m. on charges of domestic assault, domestic disorderly conduct and domestic vandalism.

On June 14, a family member called police to report that Barske was intoxicated and “out of control.” According to reports, Barske became enraged when he found that his brother had eaten his sandwich. Barske allegedly went outside and tried to taunt his brother into fighting him, but eventually resorted to slashing a tire on his brother’s car. According to reports, Barske assaulted another family who was attempting to restrain him.

When a family member called police, Barske fled from the home. After police issued a warrant for his arrest four days later, Barske turned himself in to headquarters on June 20.

NK Man Hit With Second Charge of Public Drunkenness This Week

Glenn Paul Gadrow, 48, of 185 Sachem Road in North Kingstown, was arrested June 23 at 4:15 p.m. on charges of public drunkenness — his second charge this week.

Gadrow was reportedly found passed out in the bushes next to the BP Gas Station on Post Road. According to police, there was a brown paper bag containing four beer cans and an open (nearly empty) bottle of vodka next to him.

Police called the fire department to treat Gadrow, as he was “incapacitated due to the effects of the alcohol he consumed.” He was transported to Kent County Hospital for detoxification.

Allegedly Illegal Immigrant Arrested in NK

Francisco Santay, 27, of 45 Plainfield St., Apt. 3 in Providence, was arrested June 23 at 11:37 p.m. on charges of driving without a license. He was transported to Immigration and Customs Enforcement after it was determined that he was allegedly in the country illegally.

He is scheduled for arraignment in Third District Court on July 10.

Brittany Elizabeth Butler, 25, of 51 New Lexington Road in North Kingstown, was arrested June 19 at 8:52 a.m. on following a bench warrant for her arrest.

Kelly J. Lamarre, 18, of 14 Lea Drive in North Kingstown, was arrested June 20 at 12:20 a.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license.
