NY Woman Charged With Shoplifting From Kohl's
A 23-year-old New York woman was arrested May 2 at 7:45 p.m. on charges of shoplifting from Kohl's .
A loss prevention employee at Kohl’s allegedly saw the woman take $144 worth of merchandise, removing several jewelry items from the packaging and stowing them in her purse. After she passed all the cash registers, the employee confronted her outside and asked her to return inside the store. According to police, she allegedly refused and drove off.

Narragansett police made contact with the woman and she turned herself in to North Kingstown headquarters where she admitted to taking the items, according to police.

MA Man Hit With DUI Charge
John Francis Mullen, 41, of 135 Phillips St., Apt. 02170 in Quincy, Massachusetts, was arrested May 2 at 12:04 a.m. on charges of drunken driving.
Police received a call from a woman claiming that Mullen’s car was “all over the road,” nearly hitting other vehicles and driving off the highway on Route 4.
When police pulled Mullen over just south of Oak Hill Road, Mullen allegedly told police he was on his way home to Quincy and was lost. During his field sobriety test, Mullen allegedly took 21 steps instead of the instructed nine during the walk-and-turn portion. After failing the test, Mullen was transported to headquarters for booking where he refused a chemical test.
Johnston Man Charged With Possession of Marijuana
Brian Bonilla, 18, of 41 Oak Hill Drive in Johnston, was arrested May 2 at 1:17 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana.
An officer on patrol on Route 4 allegedly clocked Bonilla traveling 76 mph in a 55-mph zone and pulled him over near Oak Hill Road. While speaking with Bonilla and his passenger, the officer smelled burnt marijuana, according to reports. Inside the car, police allegedly found 2.5 grams of marijuana in a pill bottle.
Woman Arrested During Dispute At Yorktown Market
Leslie Doran, 51, of 75 Union Drive, Apt. D303 in North Kingstown, was arrested May 2 at 7:15 p.m. on charges of disorderly conduct.
Police responded to for a reported woman being disruptive. The woman, identified as Doran, complained that the store gave her a falsified money order receipt, depriving her of $100. Police found that the money orders had been made at a different location, which Doran disputed. According to reports, Doran appeared to be under the influence and had urinated through her clothing while in the store.
