NK Police Log: SK Man Leads Police on Chase Through Ryan Park

NK Teen Charged With Domestic Disorderly and Vandalism

Nicholas Morra, 19, of 141 Yorktown Rd. in North Kingstown was arrested Oct. 26 at 11:49 a.m. on charges of domestic disorderly conduct and domestic vandalism.

Morra allegedly broke a woman’s hair straightener and knocked over a CD rack because she wouldn’t give him a memory card. Police were called and said the woman was “very uncooperative” with officers and said she didn’t want Morra to be arrested. According to reports, she told police she had knocked over the CD rack and broken the straightener. She also allegedly denied that any physical assault took place, although officers noticed what appeared to be fresh bruises on her arm. While transporting Morra to headquarters, police learned that he was also wanted on a warrant from the Warwick Police Department on charges of shoplifting.

Man Assaults Family Member, Runs Off Into Woods 

Connor Michael Park, 20, of 1784 South Rd. in South Kingstown was arrested Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. on charges of domestic assault, disorderly conduct, violating a no contact order and resisting arrest.

According to reports, a family member (whom was protected by a no contact order against Park) was picking up Park from an appointment on Ten Rod Road when he assaulted her. The woman stated that Park tried to choke her after she told him to go back inside the building and pay his bill. Park then allegedly fled the scene.

One officer arrived and had to chase Park down Ten Rod Road. According to the officer, Park looked directly at him but continued to flee after he asked him repeatedly to not run. Two other officers tracked Park down on one of the trails in Ryan Park.

Multiple Cars Broken Into on Dayton Court

According to reports, a Dodge minivan parked on Dayton Court near Wilson Park was entered overnight on Oct. 26. The suspect reportedly broke through a window and went through the glove compartment, but only took loose change in the cup holder. Police noted that there appeared to be a stain on one of the seats that looked like blood.

Another car down the road was also entered and a piece of jewelry was missing from it. A third resident stated she believed someone had tried to enter her boyfriend's car overnight as well. The woman noticed that the car's door latches were all up and there were smudges/fingerprints on the latches as well. Police also indicated that there were several car break-ins in the School Street and Catherine Drive area that night as well.

Lisa Rae St. Laurent, 30, of 304 Shannock Rd. in South Kingstown was arrested Oct. 26 at 5:15 p.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license. 

Charles Henry Kenner, 19, of 7255 Post Rd., Apt. 6 in North Kingstown was arrested following a Superior Court bench warrant for his arrest.

Albert Steven Perreault, 46, of 6101 Post Rd., Apt. 92 in North Kingstown was arrested Oct. 26 at 11:30 p.m. following a bench warrant for his arrest. 

Patrick O’Brien, 27, of 16 Winsor Ave. in North Kingstown was arrested Oct. 27 at 9:04 a.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license.
