NK Man Allegedly Hits Woman With Toddler's Car Seat
Jesse Lee Kirtlink, 23, of 345 West Allenton Rd., Apt. 5 in North Kingstown was arrested Dec. 27 at 6:15 p.m. on charges of domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct.
Kirtlink allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend when the woman arrived to pick up their child from his home. According to reports, the woman asked Kirtlink if she could use his bathroom but he kept blocking her from entering the house with the child’s car seat. Kirtlink allegedly pushed the car seat forcefully into her just several times before she took the seat from him and put it in her car. When she returned to the door, Kirtlink had locked it on her.

Eventually, Kirtlink let her use the bathroom and, when she exited the room, began yelling at her after he saw her calling someone. (According to the victim, she was calling her babysitter when Kirtlink grabbed her by the back of the arm and began pushing her out the front door.)
According to reports, Kirtlink had his 3-year-old daughter in her arms during the incident. When the victim asked for her daughter, Kirtlink allegedly “forcibly” placed the girl in her arms and threw her shoes on the ground, according to reports. The victim did not have any visible injuries but told officers the child had a red mark on her forehead from Kirtlink holding her tightly.

Narragansett Man Charged With Pot Possession
Jacob Matthew Holcombe, 19, of 9 Dudley Drive in Narragansett was arrested Dec. 29 at 1:24 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana.
Police initially pulled Holcombe over for a defective taillight, but during the stop smelled burnt marijuana coming from inside the car. When officers asked him if there were any illegal drugs in the car, he allegedly said, “I don’t think so,” but stated that many people had been in the car today so it was a possibility.
At that point, police allegedly saw a grinder on the floor of his car (commonly used for marijuana) as well as a green leafy substance on the floor near the grinder. (The substance later tested positive for marijuana.)
