NK Police Looking for Fraud Suspect
Police say the suspect used a fake ID to withdraw money from a victim's account.
The North Kingstown Police Department is asking for the public to help them identify a man who allegedly stole thousands of dollars from a victim’s bank account.
Police said the man, whose image was captured by security cameras, walked into the Coventry Credit Union on Post Road in North Kingstown on Nov. 21 and attempted to use fake identification to get money.
Police said an investigation revealed that the suspect did manage to get money from the victim’s account the day before on Nov. 20 at Coventry Credit Union branches in North Kingstown and West Warwick.

Police said the suspect wore a New York Yankees baseball cap and sported a beard and glasses.
