NK Police Welcome New Officer to Department
A former Newport police officer was sworn in to the North Kingstown Police Department last week.
The welcomed a new member to its ranks last week. Last Tuesday, Police Chief Thomas Mulligan swore in Officer John Barker Jr. at the police station.
Before coming to North Kingstown, 43-year-old Barker served on the Newport Police Department for 22 years.
