North Kingstown D'Angelo Treats Woonsocket High School Band With Lunch

D'Angelo recently donated some pizzas to the high school band as part of the company's Everyday Heroes program.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The Woonsocket High School band is the latest group to receive free subs thanks to Papa Gino's and D'Angelo. The donation came from the D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches shop in North Kingstown.

Papa Gino’s Pizzeria and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches continued their Pizza My Heart and EveryDay Heroes programs this week, "seeking out young heroes and delivering free pizza or sandwiches as a sign of appreciation for the hard work they put in for their communities and teams as young local leaders and role models."

From the start of the programs in 2019 until the end of May 2022, Papa Gino’s gave away 1,778 pizzas, or 14,224 slices, to 232 organizations, and D’Angelo donated 9,790 Sandwiches and bags of Chips to 345 organizations, through their respective donations.
