• North Kingstown Delays Pet Store Ban Vote Again (upriseri.com) — North Kingstown residents should know the Town Council has again delayed a vote on banning retail dog and cat sales, now expected back on October 19 with a public hearing likely in mid-November. Councilors also objected to a proposed state pier replacement in Wickford Cove, advanced the sale of the former Wickford Elementary School, and discussed Bitumar odor controls, license plate cameras, PFAS settlement funds, and the new public safety complex.
