Obituary: Eleanor A. "Nor Nor" Roy, 85

Eleanor A. “Nor Nor” Roy (Howard), 85, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 12, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Leo R. Roy.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Hilton W., Sr. and Anna A. (Peco) Howard.

Nor Nor was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and never missed watching a game. She also enjoyed doing 1000 piece puzzles.

She leaves two grandsons, David and James Roy both of North Kingstown; four sisters, Jane Wood of Warwick, Ann Cornell of Coventry, Marylou Greco DiMaio of Warwick and Meredith Roy of North Kingstown. She was the sister of the late Carolyn Sherman, Lois Bourque, Hilton W., Jr., Richard, and Raymond Howard.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 8:30am from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Red Sox Foundation, 4 Yawkey Way, Boston, MA 02215 will be appreciated.
