Obituary: Sean R. Shaeffer, 32

Sean R. Shaeffer, 32, of Hurling Road, North Kingstown passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Newport Hospital.

He was born in Warwick, a son of Marie (Lavoie) Dwelly of Saunderstown and the late Michael Shaeffer, Sr.

He worked in the maintenance department at the Festival Fields Apartments in Newport.

Besides his mother, he leaves two sons; Zachary and Kyle Shaeffer; a daughter, Keira Shaeffer; two brothers, Michael Shaeffer, Jr. of Georgia and Thomas Shaeffer of Saunderstown; and a sister, Tanya Martell of Johnston.

A prayer service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 10 am in the Potvin-Quinn Funeral home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick. Internment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in West Warwick. Visiting hours are Sunday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Edward J. Madden Open Hearts Camp, 250 Monument Valley Road, Great Barrington, Mass 01230.
