Pedestrian Hit by Car in Warwick ID'd as NK Woman
Warwick police have identified the victim in Thursday's accident on Post Road as a North Kingstown woman.

A pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by a car in Warwick has been upgraded from serious to good condition, according to the Providence Journal.
Warwick police have identified the woman as 26-year-old Giselle Mahoney of 282 Shore Acres Ave. in North Kingstown. (Authorities had initially withheld her name until the family was notified.)
According to police, Mahoney was using a designated crosswalk to cross Post Road at Natick Avenue on her way to the dentist's Thursday afternoon when she as struck by a 61-year-old Warwick man. The Journal reports that Warwick police may not file criminal charges, but the man may face traffic summonses for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
