Raimondo to Address Watchdog Group
Operation Clean Government's annual meeting on Friday, Nov. 4, has the Rhode Island general treasurer as its keynote speaker.

Hear about Rhode Island’s pension crisis and the proposal to address the massive unfunded liabilities straight from the general treasurer herself on Friday night, Nov. 4. General Treasurer Gina Raimondo is the keynote speaker for the 18th annual meeting of Operation Clean Government. The event, open to the public, starts at 6 pm at the West Valley Inn in West Warwick.
“This should be a very timely event,” said Margaret Kane of Barrington, the president of OCG. “We expect Gina Raimondo’s talk to take place at the height of heavy negotiations among the stakeholders in the pension crisis. This event may be a key pivot point in the debate.”
Raimondo has agreed to take questions from the floor after her address, said Kane.
